Abstract
|
|
|
Two cases of eventration of diaphragm were encountered during the past one year in Seoul Choong-Boo City Hospital.
The definite etiology is still not known, however, this disease is rare in entity. Furthemore, most cases found that accidently by the examination of chest x-ray.
The literature has been reported for two hundred cases up to date. The majority of eventration have onl mild digestive discomfort. A few of these cases are required for operative reconstruction.
Among above two cases, one had severe cardio-pulmonary and digestive embarrassment which was ccrrected with surgical intervention, and the other one had mild digestive distress and operation was not performed.
